Bring your ID.

Do not consume alcohol within 24 hours before your appointment.
Do not consume cannabis before or during your appointment.
No heavy painkillers before your appointment.

Shower before getting your tattoo. Clean skin is good skin.
Clean breath is also friendly breath. Maybe pop a mint if you're self-conscious.

Wear appropriate clothing, so that I can access the tattoo area.
If there is a part of your body you are uncomfortable exposing please let me know ahead of time and we can work something out. I want you to feel as safe as possible.

Don't come on an empty stomach. Eating before your appointment will help your blood sugar levels stay high.
Stay hydrated. Bring a water bottle.
Avoid too much caffeine before your appointment. Sitting still is key.

Please reschedule if:

  • You are taking antibiotics. It’s harder for your body to heal two things at once.

  • You are pregnant.

  • You are going on a vacation - aka, swimming, sun tanning, etc. within 2 weeks of getting your tattoo.

  • You are pre or post surgery.

If you are menstruating your tattoo may be more painful. If you know your pain tolerance then you may not care, but if it's your first time maybe reschedule. Not a huge deal, but good info to know.

Remember to stay calm and cool, you’re in good hands. There’s nothing to stress over—it’s just a tattoo!
